Our primary agricultural activity
Olive cultivation built for enduring productivity
From orchard establishment to harvest, we manage olive farming as a disciplined, long-term agricultural operation.
Olive cultivation
Olives are the foundation of Alyusr’s agricultural activities. Orchard planning considers variety selection, spacing, soil conditions, irrigation requirements and the long productive life of each tree. The goal is to build orchards that remain stable and productive over many seasons.
We treat each block of trees as part of a wider long-term plan. That means choosing layouts that support efficient movement, clear maintenance routes and practical water delivery while still allowing the trees to develop naturally.
Farming practices

Field teams follow planned programs for nutrition, pruning, monitoring and crop care. Records and seasonal observations support timely decisions and consistent orchard management. These routines matter because orchards reward steady attention more than occasional intervention.
We use field notes to track growth, identify patterns and adjust operations when conditions change. That approach helps keep the orchard healthy and improves our ability to respond before small issues become larger ones.
Sustainable irrigation
Efficient irrigation is central to farming in Moghra. We use targeted systems and operating schedules designed to apply water where it is needed while reducing avoidable losses. Water discipline is one of the main reasons an orchard can remain productive in a dry environment.
We also align irrigation with the soil and the season, because water use is most effective when it is matched to actual field demand rather than treated as a fixed routine.
Harvesting
Harvest planning is coordinated around crop maturity, intended use and quality preservation. Careful handling helps protect the value created throughout the growing season. A good harvest starts long before picking begins, through steady care and readiness in the orchard.
Our objective is to protect fruit quality while keeping operations organized and efficient, so the value of the crop is preserved from field to end use.
Long-term productivity
Our objective is not only a successful season, but healthy orchards capable of productive performance over many years. The orchard must remain an asset, not just a one-time output.
That long horizon shapes how we manage every stage of the crop cycle, from planting and irrigation to harvest and seasonal review.
